Gary's son, Wyatt, helped Gary design this tree. At first it was a single tree, but Wyatt thought something else was needed and suggested doubling it. Gary followed Wyatt's suggestion and both were quite pleased with the result. The beautiful coloration and texture are achieved by the masterful application of up to 6000 degrees of heat and special grinding techniques that Gary has developed over span of thirty years. Light reflects wonderfully off of the stainless steel, causing the color to change with changes in lighting or the viewer's perspective. Each sculpture individually hand crafted, with no two being exactly alike. Note: the beige background is not part of the sculpture. Wall sculpture.
*If used outdoors, the torch-cut edges may develop a light rust patina over time, but the other colored areas will not. In the event rust does develop and you wish to remove it, carefully and gently use a stainless steel wire brush to remove the rust from the edge areas. Be careful not use a wire brush on colored areas, as it will remove the coloring. Not recommended for outdoor areas exposed to windblown salt spray.
Easily hung using built-in brackets and ordinary picture hangers. Stainless Steel. Please note: the beige background is not part of the sculpture.
