International artists Doug Hays & Penny Cash are intrigued by anything transformed by fire. Working from their central Florida studio, Doug & Penny create their art by drawing and visualizing each design. The next step is for the artists and their apprentices to begin the process of transforming raw bars and sheets of steel into works of art. Flat shapes are plasma cut from steel plates. Bars are cut to size, heated to a glowing white, then hammered, twisted and bent to their final shape. 

Each sculpture or design is created by hand so that no two are ever alike. The works are then given unique patinas to enhance their character. 

These works are not stamped out, mass produced, or imported. By purchasing this fine piece of art, you are helping nurture creative American artists.

Doug and Penny’s art has been published in several books. Their second television special will be televised this year, having been chosen as "Modern Masters" for Home and Garden Television.
