"Praying Mantis" by Gary Caldwell

Talk about making a statement!  Mr. Mantis is at home inside the house or out in your garden.  Place him on the floor in front of the floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking your garden, or better yet, tuck him away in the garden behind some plants and watch the reaction of your guests when they discover him.  Click here for a closer view.  Formed entirely of stainless steel, the beautiful coloration is achieved by masterful application of heat.  Light reflects wonderfully off of the stainless steel, causing the color to change with changes in lighting or the viewer's perspective.   Each sculpture individually hand crafted, with no two being exactly alike.   Freestanding sculpture.
