Gary's son, Wyatt, helped Gary design this tree.  At first it was a single tree, but Wyatt thought something else was needed and suggested doubling it.  Gary followed Wyatt's suggestion and both were quite pleased with the result.  The beautiful coloration is achieved by masterful application of heat.  Light reflects wonderfully off of the stainless steel, causing the color to change with changes in lighting or the viewer's perspective.  To appreciate the subtleties of coloration and skillful application of the grinder, click here for a close-up view.  To say hello to Gary and Wyatt as well as gain perspective on the size of this sculpture, click here.  This sculpture is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.  If used outdoors, over time a reddish-brown patina will develop that further enhances the sculpture's beauty.  Each sculpture individually hand crafted, with no two being exactly alike.  Note: the beige background is not part of the sculpture.  Wall sculpture.
