"Pelican in Flight" by Gary Caldwell

This gorgeous wall-mounted sculpture captures the fluid motion of a pelican in flight.  The large surface area of the wings seems to change color before your eyes as you move around the sculpture.  Click here for a closer view.  Formed entirely of stainless steel, the beautiful coloration is achieved by masterful application of heat.  Light reflects wonderfully off of the stainless steel, causing the color to change with changes in lighting or the viewer's perspective.   Each sculpture individually hand crafted, with no two being exactly alike.   Wall sculpture.
