Sculpted from  ¼" solid steel plate and specially treated to withstand the rigors of an outdoor environment, this bench will provide joy for many years to come.   All surfaces of the bench are shot-blasted and treated with an application of flame-sprayed zinc. (Marine vessel fabricators apply flame-sprayed zinc to all ferrous metals resulting in a highly resistant coating, which prevents oxidation). Once shot-blasted and zinc coated, the piece is then painted with a two part epoxy paint. Finally, a dry brush technique is used to apply the final faux finish.
